Owner is arrogant and was staring at my teenage daughte. Discusting ... Did I mention this man is in his 70s....what a joke. Avoid this place like the plague.
Ive been riding bikes for over 40 years, I have had many repairs & services completed by shops over the decades, never have I felt I was unfairly charged until I came into the woodbridge cycle path shop to get 3 tires changed. I am not a person to complain, but seriously I feel like I was absolutely over charged. I had 2 children bicycles (rusted and in poor condition) they charged me $160, for 3 small tires and 1 inner tube, that is more then bikes are new. Unethical business practice. Rick
Service was next day, which was 1 day sooner than expected. Overpriced however. I paid $79 (HST incl) for a tune-up but they didn't appear to lube/oil the chain. (Similar to another customer's experience below.) If they couldn't do a simple thing like lube the chain, what else didn't they do? Being a small business is tough, but cutting corners doesn't generate goodwill and repeat business. I'll go somewhere else next time, sorry to say.
Very rude and grumpy staff... first of all no one cared that a customer has walked in.. bunch of guys were giggling at the back desk. I approached them and i asked if i can bring the bike in. They were like ... hmm sure. I brought the the bike in, guy who came to have a look didn't seem interested in doing the job. Because the job was " too small". Quoted $50.00 to replace one tube and front break pads and kept saying that it wasn't worth his time to this job
From my initial call, the staff was courteous, friendly and informative.
I was initially quoted the standard tune-up price, but when I brought the bikes in (with immediate help to unload them from my car), I was pleasantly surprised, after a quick but thorough inspection of the bikes to be told the Pit Stop service at a lesser cost was sufficient. Wow, nice surprise!
The turn-around time was way faster than I was told. Cycle Path Woodbridge is #1 for bike service and overall customer service!!
