Interesting experience in a good way. We tried for the first time harp seal tataki. The deer burger and risotto was delicious. The foie gras as appetizer was covered in cocoa which made the taste magnifique. Service was friendly and ambiance was great.

If you want something that will appeal to your foodie side, look no further than Caribou Gourmand in the Mile End. What makes this restaurant stand out is that the chef is from Normandy and incorporates his French roots in each dish. You’ll have to be somewhat adventurous with their ever-changing menu that emphasizes market fresh ingredients with a dash of Quebec. Do you think you can handle seal? The chef presented a seal tataki that was so well prepared that the red meat tasted of the sea! How about some red deer tartare, with just a hint of gaminess? Or try the braised boar with black beer, with a caramelized outer skin and fall off the bone meat.
