When speaking with Tandem restaurant owner Ericka Soleilhac, what comes to mind is a quote from writer Jacques Godbout: "Creation still needs luck." In 2011, the young entrepreneur and her husband, chef Pascal Turgeon, had been toying with the idea of opening a restaurant that would combine French cuisine, creativity and local products.

All this was part of a hypothetical, long-term plan that may one day happen on an off chance, until one evening, the couple was walking near the Jean-Talon market and passed a small Villeray Street storefront. Suddenly, the die was cast.

Plus que parfait ! Un vrai délice, des gens passionnés qui font de ce petit restaurant un bijou à Montréal. Si vous cherchez de la bonne cuisine ne cherchez plus, c'est ici ! Le rapport qualité prix est bon et on peut apporter son vin !

Open for several years, Tandem is a neighbourhood restaurant just the way you like them. The owners, Pascal and Ericka, form an excellent duo. While Pascal and his kitchen team prepare tasting menus, Ericka is in the dining room ensuring good service. Tandem is a seasonal French cuisine restaurant and a BYOB.
