This was an easy experience from the get-go. Booking was simple and Barry was very accommodating. Then the move itself was awesome with the two guys who were there to help (Jeff)! They made the move less stressful than it would have been without them. I would definitely recommend these guys, hands down. For the people who sadly complain about them eating & stopping for water, let's remember these men are human and deserve to also take a small break to get hydrated! they work hard!
The guy who runs the company was very unprofessional. Swearing in front of my child. Spent the entire time telling stories of past moves, while charging by the hour. Didn't bring their own water, he walked into the kitchen to help himself to water and get glasses of water for his employees. Used filthy blankets to "protect" my carpets from getting dirty! I also had a family of mice after they moved my few items in. The exterminator thinks it's most likely they were nesting in those blankets.
Barry and his crew (Mitch and Andrew) did a great job. Very professional and super accommodating. They definitely helped make our move less stressful and they were very careful with our stuff. Fair price, no surprises. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Easily the best movers I have ever dealt with! Worst rainstorm so far this year and they showed up as promised, and they worked hard. Their pricing was honest, they were highly professional and I would recommend them to anyone who asked. Very nice people to deal with.
I would say the guys are genuine and trustworthy. Except few delicate items were scratched. Thy are very good for moving 1 truck load that is around 2 to 3 bedroom apartment and not very long distance. I would recommend them, just communicating to them very clearly is what you need instead.
Very unprofessional, cussed because there was lots to move but all was packed. Showed up with no water to hydrate, had to give one Gatorade to supplement low sugar counts. Not enough manpower to do the job. Did not use care when it came to heavy items. Terrible demeanor. Absolutely would not recommend...
We recommend Barry and his guys to anyone. They were all great, very polite, respectful and did a great job. They did 3 stops and had to move some pretty heavy items. The hourly rate was so worth it.
Very unhappy with the service when we hired them for an in town move for my mother in law. Very unprofessional. They were over 2 hours late getting on site. No tools to take furniture apart. Truck was too small, had to make two trips (asked owner why such a small truck he says has nobody that can shift the tranny on the bigger truck???). One guy was wearing steel toed work boots, walked right in on new carpets. Defiantly would put them at bottom of list if your looking for movers.

I cannot praise Border City Movers enough for the service they provided on our recent move.We moved a 2 1/2 bedroom house from Lloydminster,Alberta to Saskatoon. The guys were really efficient, friendly and fast at what they do. They handled our belongings with care and made sure everything was securely packed in the truck.The timing we agreed on was perfect.I would recommend them to anyone.Overall I had a really good moving home experience thanks to Barry and staff from Border City Movers.
Ripped my new couch, new bed is stained with mud all along the side and charged me $150 for 45mins of work. When contacting the owner he tried to blame the weather and me. He offered to "meet me half way" ($25) on the half hour of over charge and rent me a steam cleaner to clean my bed but the couch is a "he said she said kind of thing" it was a rushed job and received very poor service. Would not recommend as they will not properly compensate when the job goes wrong.
