Disappointed that we went for winterlicious but not available- their site does not indicate that winterlicious isn’t offered during weekend brunch. Stayed anyways and the food was adequate and waiters were attentive.

Apparently our group was the first table to be served Winterlicious and indeed it was! The Blake House is a gem - staff are friendly and efficient. Our whole group enjoyed their meals and we will be back! Thank you Blake House for a lovely evening!

A bit disappointing this year, after a few years of enjoyable New Year’s Eve celebrations. The service was excellent, as always. It was a bit less festive this year, but maybe it was the lateness of the reservation (9:30). The main course was delicious, but my appetizer choice was not available, and the dessert was slightly changed from the menu. And quite tart, which is unusual for mangos and blueberries. Obviously the chef used a bit too much lemon juice. Overall, I would say 3 out of 5, whereas it usually rates at least a 4.

Another lovely and successful New Year's Eve meal at The Blake House! This year, in addition to my friend, my sister and her husband joined us to celebrate their 40th Anniversary as well. The food as always was fantastic - most of us had the filet mignon, cooked to perfection. As well, we sat downstairs this year for a change and found it more spacious and cozy than upstairs! I am looking forward to my next meal there, as early as Winterlicious in 2019!

Absolutely loved our evening at Blake House. Everything was wonderful from the moment we approached the beautiful mansion, to the warm welcome we received, then the choice of many cozy spots to sit. The service was great, attentive but not intrusive. The food and beverage selection and quality was outstanding and reasonably priced considering downtown Toronto, which is normally one of the most expensive and low quality cities to eat in, so The Blake House was a nice change. Highly recommended!
