Chef Mike Doppler will create an elaborate three-course meal for lovers this Valentine’s Day. The regular menu won’t be available, and the restaurant will only be open to adults on this special day. Each seating will be for two hours, giving diners plenty of time to enjoy a fantastic meal. Von’s is known for their excellent steak and seafood, so guests are guaranteed an exquisite, high-quality meal that they won’t soon forget.

The Alberta Hotel Bar & Kitchen

The restaurant is one of the newest additions to Edmonton’s dining scene but the location is historic, inside the Alberta Hotel – it’s the perfect setting for a romantic meal for two. On Valentine’s Day, this chic establishment will offer a four-course dinner for $75, from 5 p.m. till late. They are making a name for themselves with not only their cuisine but also their cocktails, so plan to indulge in both.

Sicilian Pasta Kitchen South

805 Saddleback Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 5R4

The southside location of this Italian restaurant will host a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner for $48 a person. Prior to 8:30 p.m., each seating will last two hours. Any reservations at 9 p.m. or later will not be limited to two hours. If you’re a fan of pasta and traditional Italian dishes, you’ll go gaga for this restaurant’s tasty cuisine. Also, the regular a la carte menu will not be offered on Valentine’s Day.

There are several options for a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at Tapo Vino, with seatings at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The regular menu will be available but there will also be a decadent three-course special for $50 a person. Violino Ristorante

This cute, quaint Italian restaurant is located in a historic mansion just off of High Street, giving it a lovely atmosphere to indulge in a quiet, dimly lit date for two this Valentine’s Day. The chefs are whipping up a five-course meal for the special occasion, for $99 a person, not including tax or gratuity. Credit card information must be given when making a reservation.

Solstice Seasonal Cuisine

Lovers can indulge in the usual menu, which includes tuna tartare, scallop risotto, chicken supreme, lamb shank, braised venison, beef tenderloin and vegetable arancini, or enjoy the Chef’s tasting menu. The restaurant’s cuisine utilizes fresh, seasonal ingredients from local and regional producers, so diners are guaranteed a delectable meal. Plus, the head chef is a 2011 Gold Medal Plates winner, which certainly doesn’t hurt!

Sorrentino’s downtown will start Valentine’s Day reservations at 4 p.m. The chef will whip up a table d’hote menu, featuring the decadent Italian cuisine the restaurant is loved for – Italian is one of the most romantic cuisines out there, right? The regular a la carte menu will not be available. Couples will also be able to enjoy entertainment from Italian tenor Andrea Pinna from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m.
