Food: The menu is simple yet it's high quality and well prepared dishes with great wine and drinks pairing. We decided to go with an app, an entree, and dessert - although the dishes didn't surprise us, they still met our expectations of high quality. The real treats were the Oyster Boy's Finest and Pan Seared Quebec Foie Gras, each being a great start to our meal. Although it was great, it didn't end with a bang. The meal kept its pace right through to dessert. Service: The wait staff were very attentive and accomodating. Our server was attentive to our needs, and was engaged without being too involved in our dining experience. I was impressed by the service from everyone this evening! Atmosphere: I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a table by the window. The place is beautiful with the simple and modern decor, though the view of the city is an added bonus to your meal. It's definitely worth the visit if you're looking to dine in the sky with a great meal, but be prepared to empty out your wallet, because this place isn't cheap. Read more

The inside of this restaurant is quintessential diner. The lady behind the bar was very friendly as was our server. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh even though it was a busy time of the day. For the price, the sandwich was a little small but given the location so near to Yonge & Dundas I suppose higher prices should be expected. The huevos rancheros came with 2 eggs, a generous amount of black beans, avocado, and chorizo sausage as well as a delicious corn muffin. Our server was running around in hurry and as a result during entire evening mixed up who ordered what, since it was only two of us it was ok to switch. Food Overall was very good: My appetizer was yumm and so is my the other person, soft deep fried calamari was excellent. Chicken skewers were moist and sauce was perfectly spicy. For the main dish disappointment arrived, all main dishes come with rice and stir fry. Stir fry was the WORST I have ever tried, super hard giant pieces of cabbage+ raw zucchini made it unpleasant both on taste and texture. Main dish of red curry was excellent and rice was perfectly done. Basil beef was amazing (properly the softest piece of beef I have ever tried in my life). Desserts were good too my mango-chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and banana fritter had amazing crunchy but sweet coating on it . Read more

Even a snowstorm doesn't keep Toronto diners down, as we discovered last weekend at Jump in January. It was quieter than usual due to the weather, but our food was very good. We had an extremely affable waiter from England. The service started out a bit slow, with water poured and wine ordered but 25 minutes before some bread arrived. If we hadn't been so hungry beforehand we might not have noticed. Otherwise, the food was excellent. The Bacon-Wrapped Boneless Quail appetizer was absolutely delicious. The Wild & Tame Mushroom Soup was good, but as we told our server, it needed some cream to give it more depth and round out the taste. The Mahogany-Glazed Black Cod with Lentils was very good, and my partner had the delicious Beef Tenderloin. We'll come back again, but the pacing is a bit slow, so you can't be in a hurry if you're dining here. Read more
