A welcome gem in the Junction. Staff are inviting, friendly and efficient. I tried the smoked beef hash at Saturday Brunch. Superbly smoked meat and crunchy potatoes under a perfectly poached egg in a cast iron skillet. Ginos special hot sauce was an added treat. Excellent service, wonderful warm urban setting. The food was great, amazing quality ingredients at good value. Our only complaint is that the menu is very limited - which is a bit problematic for with some with food sensitivities. I do understand that the restrictions permit us to be rewarded with quality ingredients. If there were a just a few more choices I would have awarded this venue 5 stars plus. Read more

I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. If you are there on a day where west Ham and Man U go head to head you will likely see the rivalry as friends and supporters pile in and sit in separate sections of the bar to cheer for their teams. We also were treated to a random complimentary amuse-bouche of a pork terrine with caramelized onions on crostini. Vanilla creme brulee was the single best creme brulee I've ever had--PERFECTLY burnt sugar. Truly amazing prices for food this good. ONLY down thought?
