I have been going to this restaurant from day 1 when they opened and I had never had an issue with a meal, however last night we ordered salmon and it was way too salty. I couldn't eat it and was embarrassed to complain but the owner had no issues taking the plates back and preparing from scratch with no salt at all.
I know it's a difficult time for restaurants and this was just another reason I will still dine here & recommend it to everyone.
They care about their customers, food & reputation.

From our experience we found the Wine & sparking water to be reasonably priced. We had the vapolicella wine which was $47 a bottle Not cheap but not expensive. Significantly better than Kamoosh in Waterdown, food wise and for price of wine. You can find bottle of wine for $40. Vs $21 a glass !

We’ve been going to this restaurant for years. The quality and quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It is a family oriented restaurant where kids are welcome which is nice. And this from a senior senior. And the owner is environmentally aware, and has made changes to reduce the use of plastic before many others; and is respectful of his staff and so closes every year over the holiday period so staff can be with their family. My friends and I went for a late lunch, we thought that we would make "do" with whatever they had left over, we were kind of lingering at the bar, because we didnt want to seem obtrusive...However we were warmly welcomed and encouraged to sit at a table, clean & spottless after which our server came to us with menus, water, & suggestions!! we ordered the margerhita pizza, caesar salad with chicken & an order of bruschetta...the food was served to us by a very gracious man, whom we later found out was the owner!! How refreshing was that, the other guests, patrons, regualars & staff went about their business & gave us the utmost attention, felt like we went to an old friends house for lunch, gave us all a feeling of warmness, & we felt connected to everyone!!!!!! Every one of the staff members were very courteous and attentive. My daughter had her newborn son strapped to her chest in a wrap and many staff members stopped by to see our 6 week old grandson. The manager on duty even stopped to ask how everything was. The food and service was wonderful. The food never fails to please. We also ordered takeout recently with chicken parm meal for 4. We were able to feed 5 adults and still have some leftovers for lunch. Excellent value!

On Recycling Day, I noticed that 3 of my neighbours had Amico's Pizza boxes out at the curb routinely. It has been my experience that people don't order from the same place if the food is garbage. So I picked up a flyer and called... I was NOT disappointed!!
In the summer time they also sometimes deliver the pizza in an old Fiat 500 - VERY Cool!
It's hard to find a great pizza place nowadays and Amico's delivered! (Get it? Ha ha)
