My first time going to Sushi Legend on Ravel Road and to be honest with you, I am very very happy. This place is new so everything is sparkling. The design of the restaurant is so modern and classic, I fell in love instantly. The all you can eat lunch is $12.95 and considering all of the different choices they have, it is soo soo soo worth it. The place is big and comfy and can accommodate a lot of people. The servers are all fluent in English, very friendly and serve you very quickly. My lunch bento box which was $8.50 came in 5 minutes. I was impressed. I cannot even think of one bad thing to say about this place. Everybody should come and visit! :)

We have been ordering from this restaurant for a couple of years now. They have some of the best sushi in our neighborhood and in the city. Their menu offers a variety of options, and dine in specials. We love the BC and Banzai rolls, all their sashimi and their pan fried and soup udon noodles. I got here for lunch often because it is close to my work. Prior to that my boyfriend took me a few times too, since he lives nearby and loves the place.
I'm quite surprised at some of the reviews here though. I love the place! I feel very welcomed, the service is good, and the atmosphere is quite nice. I've never been disappointed with their food, and find the quality much better than some restaurants. That said, I would note that I find them to be a bit pricey.
So overall, it's a great place! If you like friendly staff, good food, and nice environment go here.

I always thought that the area needed a sushi place, as in the area of Bathurst/Finch and Bathurst/Sheppard there were no sushi places. In fact, the nearest sushi place was located on Yonge St.
My family had the AYCE dinner (the dinner is 18.95 from Monday to Thursday and 20.95 for Friday and the Weekend). The sushi quality was really good, and I noticed that many of the other clients chose to order the sushi using the regular menu (the non AYCE option). In addition, The Sashimi slices were really big and very fresh.
I also liked the environment of the Restaurant, and found the costumer service to be very good. I would definitely recommended to visit this restaurant!

After seeing *some* favourable reviews and while in the Yorkdale area, I decided to try this place out. So I hope that I'm not being biased after reading unfavourable reviews about their service.
We ordered Hwe Dup Bap (sashimi salad) and a dumpling soup with clear noodles - sorry, I don't remember the name. Shortly after placing ordering, 5 side dishes were brought out. Their flavours varied and they were yummy!
The salad was perfect for a light, late lunch. Lotsa flavour, especially after adding the sweet/spicy chilli sauce which was provided in a squeeze bottle! My bf said that the dumpling broth was okay.
Service-wise, side dishes were taken away, not replenished. And I had to ask for our tea to be refilled! Waitresses seemed waaay more attentive to a table of Korean men. Maybe it's because waitresses are more comfortable speaking their own language.
So although service wasn't terrible per se, be a bit proactive to get even better service!

I've been eating at this place from time to time since it opened. The food is good, the service decent. Food arrives with minimal wait, even when the restaurant is packed. I live near Queen and Spadina and have had some difficulty with finding decent low-medium priced sushi. Toshi is across from where I take spin class and I noticed that the sign indicated that the chef was Japanese so I decided to try it out. I found the fish to be fresh, the restaurant to be clean and the service to be attentive. They service appropriately sized rolls and nigiri, as opposed to the giant pieces that many other establishments serve (this is a good think IMO). Overall, very good meal and I think I will be frequenting Toshi a great deal.
