Omg this place is an absolute Gem! My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner G was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! We frequent this little piece of culture in downtown Belleville as often as we can. The lunch menu is incredible. Where else can you get delicious sandwich/quiche/salad with soup for $10? The bread is organic and baked fresh on the premises. The service is friendly and when you ask about the food they can always tell you what you want to know. The atmosphere is lovely and when the kitchen is open like it is there is nothing to hide. The bistro is impeccably clean and it is obvious that the chef/owner takes great pride in his business. We have eaten every sandwich, quiche, and meat pie on the menu as well as every soup and salad. We are never disappointed. For dinner you have to try the chef's table that takes place twice per month. An opportunity to sit with 12 other people to enjoy the surprise chef's choice menu of starter, main, and dessert. Incredible. If you haven't gone to L'Auberge de France then make a point of going. And don't miss the fresh croissants on Saturday mornings. Read more

My favorite asian food restaurant in the Quinte Area by far as I am not a big fan of the local buffets. My only wish is that they would serve delicious Pho. The vermicelli dish with spring rolls and grilled pork is a delight. The lemon grass dish is another treat. Wonton soup is hot and yummy. Service is excellent. At times, it can get busy during the lunch rush, I did not have any problems. Take out is just as good. The interior decor is very nice as well. The parking is never a problem in the King George Square. Read more

Great little cafe. A bit cramped inside but a varied menu and very reasonable prices. Probably the best clubhouse sandwich in town, comes with fries for 7.80$. Lunch specials (sandwich usually) also with fries or soup and a drink for 7$. I had the pulled pork sandwich last time, and for being as far away from southern as you can get, it was very good. Meat was moist on a white bun (a must), enough sauce, solid flavour and tangy. Even the cole slaw (I normally don't touch slaw) was excellent with just the right amount of vinegar. Service is prompt, friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast special as well, eggs, bacon/ham, hash browns, toast for around $5. Read more
