FINALLY are restaurant in Belleville that knows food, service and ambiance. I received a gift ceritificate to this restaurant as a welcome to Belleville present and it was BY FAR the best thing given to me since my family and I relocated here. We had the best experience from entry to exit. The staff is so warm, welcoming and accommodating to our every need. They have an extensive wine selection (no other restaurant in town compares...trust me I've been to every one) I can't say enough good things about our experience here. This place came up when I asked some friends about a good burger joint in Kingston. I gave it a shot and I have to agree the food is great. The burgers are large portion, and the sweet potato fries where great along with the chipotle mayo. The two meals and an appetizer ran up a pretty healthy bill, but it was worth it.
Its a comfortable place to eat with medium to high level food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Had the one piece halibut and chips and the food was good, asked for side of coleslaw and an iced tea. A little shocked at getting a bill for 20.91. I think this is a bit pricey for not even getting a beer with it. Coleslaw $3, iced tea $3.30. Overpriced. Won't return.

We frequent this little piece of culture in downtown Belleville as often as we can. The lunch menu is incredible. Where else can you get delicious sandwich/quiche/salad with soup for $10? The bread is organic and baked fresh on the premises. The service is friendly and when you ask about the food they can always tell you what you want to know. The atmosphere is lovely and when the kitchen is open like it is there is nothing to hide. The bistro is impeccably clean and it is obvious that the chef/owner takes great pride in his business. We have eaten every sandwich, quiche, and meat pie on the menu as well as every soup and salad. We are never disappointed. For dinner you have to try the chef's table that takes place twice per month. An opportunity to sit with 12 other people to enjoy the surprise chef's choice menu of starter, main, and dessert. Incredible. If you haven't gone to L'Auberge de France then make a point of going. And don't miss the fresh croissants on Saturday mornings.

Ate in restaurant first time. Food was amazing. Service was great, except it was very hard to hear the server due to dining area was extremely loud. Could not carry on a conversation with my boyfriend because of the 8 people next to us.

Great place to eat and great service. Been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I guess there going through change of ownership. Amazing to me how rude people can be. One of the times I was there I was standing in line and some lady was saying she had been waiting an hour. I had walk in behind them and she told the server that she was waiting for over an hour. I had been there for 20 minutes. They held the door for me when we all walked in. Maybe they should have went to McDonald’s.

I love the general atmosphere of this place which is charming and delightful. Its in a beautiful heritage house that transports you back to another time.
The service is quite good too.
They offer a wide ranging menu. I haven't had the pizza the guy makes there in years but it was probably my favourite thing.

Been a few years since we were at Raxx and were pleasantly surprised this week. Nice renovations make the place look brighter than before and lots of options for seating, pool tables, bar area, TVs, etc.
Food was surprisingly good, particularly the chicken wings that were well cooked, perfectly sauced and quite meaty. This was not a Wednesday night so not sure if the wing quality is better/worse/same on the night that wings are discounted.
It was a pleasure to have the option of blue cheese dip with real chunks of cheese in it. Wish more places served this with their wings and/or pizza! :)
The salad was a huge serving and very fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken was finely shredded and nicely flavoured. I eat a lot of chicken and salad and this was a surprisingly good one. Red wine vinaigrette was a nice option too.
Service was a bit slow for refilling drinks and for bringing out the food considering the place was practically empty but the order came exactly as requested including a couple of customizations to the salad.
The menu is straightforward and not too complicated nor too many items. Could use a fewer lower-fat items but realistically I wouldn't expect to find much of that on a sports bar menu so not a big deal.
We were quite surprised at the food quality and would come back. Thank you!

While waiting for our food, my husbands sugar crashed and he felt horrible, sweaty, shaky, dizzy.. the staff noticed something was wrong and immediately sprang into action. They offered orange juice and some ice for his neck.... by the time he felt better we didn’t want to eat... they packed up our food and the manager took care of the bill. This is my go to place for fish and chips. The chips are made from scratch and fried to perfection. The halibut is battered perfectly - not too thick, not too thin. Even the coleslaw is fresh tasting and flavourful. The prices are very reasonable and worth every penny.

My favorite asian food restaurant in the Quinte Area by far as I am not a big fan of the local buffets.
My only wish is that they would serve delicious Pho. The vermicelli dish with spring rolls and grilled pork is a delight. The lemon grass dish is another treat. Wonton soup is hot and yummy.
Service is excellent. At times, it can get busy during the lunch rush, I did not have any problems. Take out is just as good.
The interior decor is very nice as well. The parking is never a problem in the King George Square.
