I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). Every single guest complimented the selection and quality of food. We all left with fully satisfied bellies. I definitely recommend this place! Read more

First visit to Denny's on a Sunday morning, although the grandchildren are regulars with their parents. Place was about half full at 10:30 in th morning. Lots of staff. We were seated quickly. Pleasant & efficient server (Camilla). Took our coffee order & returned within a couple of minutes. If you're not a regular takes some time to go through the extensive menu plus they had a special "Hobbit menu" which we passed on. The seniors turned to the senior section and everybody found an accomodating dish. I ordered the senior omlette which came with toast & hashbrowns. All the food arrived quickly, hot & to order, i.e. I ordered unbuttered brown toast. Camilla came by several times to ask to refill our coffee cups. All in all a very pleasant experience & I would return. Read more

I love this denny's, Around may last year there was a Baconallia celebration where that had a whole menu filled with foods packed wih bacon! they even had a bacon sundae tha was quite briliant, but that was only a month long thing ): This denny's on queen is the only one i've been too that will still makes me the bacon sundae every time I visit! oh yeah and the grand slamwich is awesome aswell! Even a snowstorm doesn't keep Toronto diners down, as we discovered last weekend at Jump in January. It was quieter than usual due to the weather, but our food was very good. We had an extremely affable waiter from England. The service started out a bit slow, with water poured and wine ordered but 25 minutes before some bread arrived. If we hadn't been so hungry beforehand we might not have noticed. Otherwise, the food was excellent. The Bacon-Wrapped Boneless Quail appetizer was absolutely delicious. The Wild & Tame Mushroom Soup was good, but as we told our server, it needed some cream to give it more depth and round out the taste. The Mahogany-Glazed Black Cod with Lentils was very good, and my partner had the delicious Beef Tenderloin. We'll come back again, but the pacing is a bit slow, so you can't be in a hurry if you're dining here. Read more
