Swiss Chalet Franchised first united in the year of 1954 and has been a Canadian favorite ever since. Swiss Chalet is known for its fresh on premise rotisserie chicken; the slow roasted chicken is also served with Canadian potatoes and simmering delicious Chalet dipping sauce. Swiss Chalet, is also known for its incredible tender grilled ribs, also served with sides of fresh cut fries, that makes Chalets food so delicious.
Every Swiss Chalet location has a family orientated atmosphere. The setting consists of casual tables and booth seating as many as twelve customers, comfortable chairs and simple artwork covers the walls. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon.
As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be.
The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience.
Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful. We encourage many individuals to take their date, spouse or family to the nearest location for their next great dinner experience for delicious food, friendly service and comfortable setting.

We love this place for tons of reasons...the food is fresh, with lots of flavor. The owner, chef and staff are very sweet, friendly and work hard to make your meal memorable. I love to support local business and this one is easy to recommend! I have never had Thai food before but our visitors from Toronto loved Thai food. Because of the reviews over a year ago I was worried about visiting this restaurant. We went about 4 p.m. for dinner and our experience was great. I thought that if the food was going to be poorly cooked or appear to be left over as a previous reviewer stated, it would be at this time of day.The waiter was friendly and helpful. Our food arrived steaming hot, fresh and delicious. Every dish was as described and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our friends definitely agreed that we would be visiting here again.

This has to be on of my favourite restaurants in the area. I have been about 10 times now and have never been dissappointed. Even my lack of chopstick skills has never prevented me from enjoying the flavourful food.
I have tried a few things on the menu and have not had a bad dish yet. This is also a great place for students to go, great food at very reasonable prices.
Don't take my word for it, just check it out yourself!

their menu covers all bases...I had The Good Morning Burger, which has bacon, cheese, a fried egg and a hashbrown! My girlfriend had buffalo chicken wrap, which she said was delicious!! We both opted for onion rings, and washed it all down with a pint of 50....

I love Little Saigon because the food is great, but the prices are very great too! I often eat at Royal Pho in Ancaster because it is closer, but I end up getting food that doesn't taste quite as good, and costs more. Another good thing about Little Saigon is it is close to the mall, so I can escape food court prices and have a tasty sit down meal. The food is fresh, arrives quickly and is flavourful and delicious. I always finish every last bite, it is so good! If you like vietnamese food and eat it often, this is the place to go!

I have been going to this eatery for 5 yrs now. It was really good at first when it was called The Bamboo then it was sold and it was just not the same. Now, it was sold again when it became Five Star Chinese Buffet. Now, it is better, pretty much like it was a few yrs ago plus they have the extra food items at the back on week nights that they only use to have on the weekends. It's a good place to eat. If you ate there in the past and liked it I think you will like it again.
