The food is pretty standard for American cuisine and is usually well cooked, though I once had chicken that tasted off. The signature sauce that comes with meals is amazing! Dessert portions are too small for the price but prevent me from overeating. Service is friendly but sometimes slow during peak times. This type of food is relatively new to me, but it's definitely something that my wife and I have enjoyed discovering! The service was a bit on the slow side but then again, we were surprised with how busy the place was on a Sunday night! That must say something about how good the food is! This place was recommended to us by friends who said it was good thai food and they were absolutely correct! My wife popped by after getting off the GO train and ordered 2 take out dishes. She said she was greeted warmly by a young man who also went back to cook the food fresh! The service was fast and the food was delicious! Actually, it was the best tasting pad thai I have ever had! At other places, the flavour and colouring is consistent with catsup and I never enjoyed pad thai that much becuase of this. This pad thai had a lot of flavour. The sauce was rich and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The chicken dish we had was equally as good. The portions were plentiful enough that we had leftovers for lunch the next day! The family favorite! We go to the Ajax location mostly. Fantastic food. We never order the all-you-can-eat as the lunch 2 roll special is so big, you can hardly get through it, plus it's so reasonable at $6.95. We eat there once a week and order in often. We avoid ordering in any hot food as it always arrives stone cold. You just can't re-warm dumplings. Even the raw fish haters in the family find something delicious on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service is fast and friendly. The only down side is, my husband always talks in a Japanese accent when we go....and does the same at any ethnic restaurant that we visit. He can't seem to help himself....it's very embarrassing.
