I thought it didn't matter but ask for Giovanni at either place...he is the best and has worked for professional skaters...he is the best in Vancouver for sure. People come from the USA, out of province to see him and the price is the same as anywhere else. More than worth it.

Sports Junkies is a great place to go if you have a kid who seemingly grows out of their sports equipment the day after you buy it. They carry a great selection of new and Used Sporting Goods and are also a good place to go to consign or sell your used gear outright. I like the fact that they closely follow the rules too so that they don't end up being a fence for less than scrupulous individuals in our society. That said the products they carry are always in good repair and they service what they sell too. We recently bought a bike here an had a recurring flat tire problem, They took it in, found the problem, fixed it and charged us $5.00! What a deal! Originally my plan was to purchase some camping supplies from up the street at MEC, however the prices that were offered were not what I was willing to pay.
