Im not sure why the negative reviews. Its an italian restaurant why are you ordering steak and fries?? Their pastas are outstanding, the wood oven pizza is outstanding, the place is always busy or was at least before covid and Peroni on tap is great. Good espresso, good dessert the Nutella Pizza is sooo good. Its small, close quarters and certainly not private in any way, but thats what I like. Ive been going for years and will continue to do so once covid is finished. Read more

This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. I like places where they have a pride of ownership and this is one where the owners are active in the business, the chef came from the kitchen to check on our meal, and they genuinely appreciated our business. I've never written a review (and we enjoy our dinners out at various restaurants), but this place really deserves one! My husband and I drive from Pickering to have dinner here and it's always worth the drive! The ambience, service and food are all amazing! My favourite dish is the Arctic Char - it's so good that even my husband ordered it once (he's not one to order fish for dinner). He's stated that the lamb is the best he's ever had. Franc and his staff at Posticino always make our dining experience a memorable one! Read more

It is a family oriented restaurant where kids are welcome which is nice. And this from a senior senior.
