I made reservations and went to the restaurant at the end of May for my 18th birthday party. It looked very elegant fom the mall entrance. The ambience was very modern and cozy, though it was slightly noisy at times. Service was prompt and attentive with our orders and the manager even came and brought me a piece of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" written in icing on the plate. Everyone unanimously agreed that the food was great. We shared a group veggie, chips, and dip platter and I had the steak well done. It was cooked to perfection and was artfully arranged with savory garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The cake I received was delicious, as was the sorbet a friend let me try. Overall, the evening went perfectly and the meal was easy on the wallet since none of us drank any alcohol. I would definitely come back here or to another Oliver & Bonacini managed etablishment. It's been years since I had been to an East Side's, as I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, quick, and the service was good. The food wasn't as heavy and bland as I expected, but light and flavourful. I judged too quickly, and will give this place another shot when we crave some Italian. Read more

This was a very nice restaurant with good Italian food, everything was good - nothing great. The service was very attentive and professional. They have tons of parking and the decor is very clean and upscale. They can handle large parties of 30 to 50 people, I recommend Il Tartufo. Read more

Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at. The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises. For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it! Read more
