This restaurant location has undergone many incarnations. Some good, some very good,and some really not good. Under the current owners, the food is very good. There are two versions of Hot and Sour soup, one is the "traditional" one and the other a seafood one. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood version. The shrimp are fresh and just nicely done. The last review was pretty ignorant. They were doing a staff training night from what Im told so thats why they were closed at 730 PM. The next day they opened. Typical opening issues but my first experience at this location was pretty good, room for improvement but what new opening restaurant doesn’t.

My husband and I were at the Cross Eyed Giraffe Cafe yesterday for the grand re-opening. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. My fiancée and I enjoyed all five dishes that we tried. The salads and the seafood dishes were all loaded with flavor. What was supposed to be cold was cold and fresh, what was meant to be hot was cooked to accuracy and hot. The presentation of each dish was impressive. Lovely ambiance, service was impeccable. We told the host that this was a special night for us and were treated in such a lovely way. Thank-you for beginning a lovely evening for us.
