I have to tell you, I don't normally write reviews but this place needed mentioning. We were going to the movies at Rainbow and saw that they had a "Dinner and Movie" deal. What a deal ! I bought a Mondo Burrito - it was freaking huge ! chips and guacamole, and a drink for $15 bucks and that included my $9 movie ticket ! You cant beat that deal anywhere. The rest of the party really enjoyed their meals too .. word of warning though ... their HOT sauce is HOT ;-) We'll certainly be back ! Read more

Walking into "lunch at one eleven", I thought I would be served the same cafeteria style burger and fries that I have become used to. I was pleased to see that none of his items were fried. He offers fresh sandwiches, salads, and some in house baked specials. I chose the corned beef on marble rye, and was very pleased. It was fresh, came quick, and was offered at a reasonable price. Don't let the outside fool you - this is one of those gems you find hidden away in the least likely location. We tried Papa's based on Restrauntica reviews - same reason we went with the deluxe panzerotti. You have to taste (and see!) this to believe it! I ate this thing for dinner, for lunch the next day, and AGAIN the day after that! Loaded with stuff like pepperoni, bacon, peppers and mushrooms - all wrapped up in a delicious, slightly chewy dough. It's about the size of a medium pizza - and large enough to share. Ive been to several sushi restaurants in London including Kawa, Wonder, etc. and Sushi Ya has hands down the best maki and nigiri I've had in the city. Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations. Fair prices, the box deals are a great value. The couple that runs it are very pleasant and nice, plus its a really small place, pretty adorable stuff. Highly recommended to all. Read more

I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Read more
