Quaint little cafe with old-world-charm leaded glass windows that open to the street in summer. I have been there many times, always getting one of their breakfast meals. The service has always been quick and polite. The owner/manager was always on site and seems to take pride in good service. The place is usually pretty busy, but has a quick turn around time, so there isn't usually a wait more than a minute or two. As soon as your coffee cup starts to empty, the waitress or busser is over to fill it right back up (if you desire). It is a good old fashioned diner/greasy spoon that is great to sit back and have conversation with friends, and also great prices. Bonus, it is located close to Riverdale farms (TO's 1st zoo) which is great place (free) for kids to see animals, and near riverdale park for a game of baseball, tennis, ultimate or walking the dog. The meal is always done how you like it, and price includes coffee/tea and a small cup of OJ. Not bad at all ;) One of the most economical places to have a full meal, and unlike Yorkville restos I have never been dissatisfied with the food nor the service. The one thing they could improve on is offering more hot water for tea drinkers...we enjoy refills too! Read more

My friend ordered the Chicken Tikka, which was a big chicken breast, grilled with Tikka sauce on the side. Different, but good. I had the Ping Gai chicken which was excellent and came with Rice and Salad. Total with 2 beers came to $53. A great deal for pretty good food in an upscale pub atmosphere. Will definitely return. Soup'n Such was one of the greatest chance encounters I've had in a long time.I was in the area for a doctors appointment and went out in search for some healthy, home stile food, and I found it! Soup'n Such makes everything from scratch. They roast their own meats, make all their dressings, put real fruit & vegetables into the smoothies, (best of all) they make every soup on the menu from scratch - adding the bare minimum of salt so you can add to taste. To many people this cooking may appear bland, because we are in an age where foods have an excess about of salt/sugar etc... But for me I would rather add to taste then have too much added before hand. Lastly and most importantly, the thing that will have me returning over an over is...There are No Preservatives in there homemade foods! For me this is a diamond in the rough, reason being, i have a preservative allergy. Check'em out they are worth it! And remember if it seems bland, that means it's all the more fresher ;) Read more

We went to a late dinner (girls night out). Our server was great super nice. The belly dancers we awesome!!! They pulled us onto the dance floor with them, It was a good entertaining night in the city. Mind you the food was only Good for the price $$$$ 65 dollars just for me and I had no drinks with that:( big time downer. Atmosphere was great though. Big bench like table areas with pillows. Nice!
