One of the first italian pasta restaurants I've been to where I was actually impressed. The "Fusilli Jerry" was absolutely delectable...a definite favourite.
My rule for pasta is: if I can make better at home, it's not worth paying it elsewhere.
Lets just say I have not found another restaurant where I feel this rule does not apply.

I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table.
Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! The service was excellent and the food matched the service. We had 4 of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. So impressed by both food and service. Complimentary bruschetta was fresh bright well balanced and incredibly yummy. The Alfredo was solid traditional Italian with a beautiful unique undertone I couldn't identify but loved. I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. I work right near this place and go almost once a week for take-out. however if you eat IN it is quite a value - i bet you don't eat it all and take some home, and the price is fantastic. $10 lunch for a gyro dinner including greek salad and garlic bread.

The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either. The atmosphere was a bit crowded, we sat very close to another couple and could hear their conversation even though they weren't loud.
