I went in on my lunch break to grab something quick to eat. I never expected such a variety of items on their menu! They have wraps on whole wheat, massive sandwiches on ciabatta buns which are under 10$ with a side! Never have I found such a nice place with great service. I had my wrap (seriously vegetarian) within 15 minutes. Was served nice and warm! Great choices for healthy lunches which are filling, and also treats for those who have a sweet tooth! Definitely recommend their cupcakes to anybody who loves sweets. Best shop in Peterborough! Read more

It is a comfortable, homey atmosphere where you are served a delicious meal that is superbly cooked .........fresh ingredients, nothing overcooked. It reminded me of Sunday dinners at Grandma's house.........dessert was also fabulous and fresh-made. My friend and I just had an amazing meal at Dolce Vita. The focaccia was fantastic as was the salad, main course and dessert (Tiramisu & lemon curd). The cappuccino was huge and delicious. The server was great...answered any questions and if he didn't know, he asked the chef. The prices were what you would expect from a high end restaurant so didn't feel they were out of line. We live out of the area and normally don't eat at ESM's as we have been bitterly disappointed in the past. Not so at this location! Our experience here put this restaurant back on our radar! Great service, friendly staff (ask for Holly, she's lovely) and the kids were well looked after. Not to mention the ice-cold beer and fresh and tasty food. If you have given up on East Side Mario's don't pass this one up. These guys should show the rest of the chain how it's done! EXCELLENT! Read more
