Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). Our absolute favourite for authentic italian. You know the restaurant is a gem when the local Italians eat there with their whole families (babies too!). As Marcello's is always packed, go early to get a seat (especially if your party is larger than 4) or expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes or longer. Service is prompt when seated and the lively atmosphere makes it very homey. The waiters are efficient, no-nonsense and definitely not snobby(as in other places), and they know the menus. On regular nights we share an appetizer, and dessert with our meals and we are stuffed!! The tirimisu is home made and heavenly; you could easily have seconds. I have been to other restaurants on College street, and quite honestly, at Marcello's the dishes are on par and above on quality. Combine the quality of food, with good portion sizes, very reasonable pricing, and you will see why Marcello's is always packed!! Read more

This place is by far the BEST Restaurant I've ever eaten in!!! and here's why; 1- Unless your extremely hungry, the home cooked portions are so big, you can barely finish, so in most cases there's left overs for the next day. 2- No one in the city comes close to giving you that much food for that price, because no one has this kind of turnover! 3- Everything , even the bacon bits are real, nothing is from a can, the soups are home receipies, and the place is so busy that the food can be any fresher! 4- The servers might be a little on the old side, but you still get your meal faster than any other restaurant I ve ever been to! 5- The seats are real leather, ive seen them watering the plants, and you can custom tailor every part of your meal to suit even the pickiest of eaters.
