My mom and I and my 2 boys went early on a Sat. night, I was very pleased with the service, the decor, the menu, we both got the roast beef and the shrimp appetizer, both were awesome, the shrimp were huge, the meat cooked to perfection to what we had asked for, yorkshire pudding, fresh vegetables cooked right, homemade mashed potatoes, the boys ate of the kids menu which I was surprised they even had as it looks fine dining when you walk in, the chicken fingers and fries were delicious. The waiters treated us very kindly and were very attentive, when they found out it was my birthday dinner they brought out cake and sang, when we were leaving the place was packed, perhaps an upscale crowd judging by the fancy cars in the parking lot, they also have a separate lounge and outdoor patio, both very nice and comfortable and a sign that said free h'ors doeurves from 4 - 6 during the week, I'm definitely going back and would highly recommend this restaurant. I visited Swiss Chalet with low expectations. My four year old son was excited about the toys they offered so we went for a quick dinner. I was pleasently surprised. We sat with a young waitress who I unfortunatly also held low expectations for. At such a young age I doubted that she knew much...however she provided us with better service than we had recieved in a chain..maybe ever. She brought our meals promptly, was attentive, we didnt need to ask for refills, and when my son spilt on himself, she cleaned it all up and even stopped his crying. The food wasn't great, but as long as you have service like that, I would be back anytime. Read more

I have been a customer of King Henry's for the last 6 years and I have loved every visit. The food is amazing and they have found gems to work in their kitchen. Everything from the featured appetizers to the homemade desserts have been a treat to look forward to. My favourite thing to order are the curry fries and the Prime rib dinner on Friday and Saturday night is amazing, but get there early because they can sell out. The prices of the food and drinks are low compared to their high quality. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and treat their regulars like part of the family. I rated this Keg a 4 but that is a balance of infleucnes because there is a good side and a down side. The good: the cleavage OR the mini-skirts. Notice that checking out some cleavage on young ladies or short skirts is pure entertainment and super. BUt for some very strange reason no waitress has both of them. Its either this or that. What is the story? I dont know. The girls with cleavage have pants, the girls in minis have no cleavage. STRANGE> the other down side is the kids. People, if you have three kids can you ask them to stay at home or leave their baseball caps at home? this is a high class restaurant. There is a burger place around the corner did you mean to take them there? I am not going to come back and order alcohol if there are kids around. Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology. What would you expect if you tried to get a table for 7 people on a saturday nite without a reservation when the place is lined up.
