The Sweet and Sour Pork, Chicken Chow Mein and the Almond Chicken are without a doubt delicious! If you love Ginger fried beef, trust me Szechuan Palace is the place to go. The beef and broccoli is good; however, it would taste better without the ginger. The meal overall was sizzling with flavor. If you are in the mood for Chinese, I would definitely recommend Szechuan Palace.

What a beautiful get away. If you come to Vancouver Island to experience the West Coast and not some stuffy hotel room this is the place to be. It has waterfront river access and friendly West Coast welcome with gift baskets and personable service. The rooms were lovely. You can use the BBQ and the wharf. You can cook inside or outside and save on food costs. Great for families or friends or just to meet people in the outdoor areas if you want. I would love to come back with friends again.

The Burgers here are great! And the service is so friendly, makes you want to come back again and again. I really have only good things to say about the Arbutus cafe. This place has been a downtown landmark for as long as I can remember and the food is good old fashioned real comfort type food.
