Haven’t lived in the Comox Valley long, but have been to the Treasure Shack twice and really loved it. Some items were a bit expensive, but lots of little goodies were priced just right. Found a beautiful hand painted chair for my daughter for only 10 dollars. Felt like a steal ?

A very nice old fashioned style Chinese restaurant with 100% good customer service and very good food. My favorite dish there is the Chicken Chow Mein and Sweet And Sour Pork combo for 1.

The Griffin Pub is a great place to eat, my hubby and I have been going quite regularly for lunch and occasionally for Prime rib on Friday nights. The Prime rib is to die for and the Yorkshire pudding is HUGE! You'd better come hungry. The staff is fun and friendly and we are always treated like we are part of the family. We've even been known to use the shuttle service when necessary. It's nice to know that is available.
