Hidden in the chaos of downtown Yonge St. is a hidden gem. Papaya can be easily missed when walking by. I am so glad I stopped. Very fresh produce and warm hospitality. I didn't dine inside but ordered take-out and waited there while it was being prepared. The servers were very pleasant to me and when I returned home to eat I was extremely pleased with the food. Open 24hrs, so prices are a little higher than other pho places. Around $9 for a large, but you get your money's worth because the portions are HUGE! They've achieved the perfect noodle to soup ratio. The soup is one of the best I've had and they do not skimp on the meat either! Fresh tender rare beef + brisket! Atmosphere is a little dilapidated but so are most pho places, so it's expected. I'd go here every week if only I lived closer. Read more
