After a couple of years of trying to find a stylist in the north end, I had given up the hope that I would ever get a haircut that would address my hair challenges. My search is over!!!I have just gotten home from my first appointment at Rock It Out Salon and I absolutely LOVE my hair, I am sooooooo happy.My appointment was with Amanda,who knows what she is doing and I have to mention the Receptionist, so friendly not phony friendly, genuinely friendly. Steve has a little hair salon business going in Castle Downs. I once lived adjacent to the strip mall that he is leasing space from. He is a personable guy who has a very pleasant way about him. But he always has worked me into his schedule whenever I needed a quick trim. He gives me the kind of hair cut that I have never been able to get anywhere else. Now that I live over 20 min away by car I still make him my barber of choice. I really appreciate Steve! He is a one man band. Best wishes

This place is great! So clean and comfortably set up, and I've only met 2 of the staff but I'm impressed! Bailey was so knowledgeable and inviting, it was like chatting with a friend. I'd recommend this location even if you don't live in that part of the city. It's worth the commute! This was my first time at a tanning salon since moving to Edmonton so thanks for making me feel welcome. I look forward to being a regular customer!
