LOVE! with so many options for Chinese in Victoria, you can't go wrong with Sampan Express. If you are looking for table side service, linen, candle light, may be a bottle of wine.....etc.. this would NOT be the place for you . They aren't the best but hey.... for around 10 bucks a head you get a decent meal , I had a 3 items combo from their hot table for just $9.25 + tax. my girlfriend Linda had a wonton soup......best wonton.....said Linda. I go hear at least once a week with my husband and two kids. Never disappoints, in fact we always get amazing food, exceptional service, and walk out with full bellies. Don't be put off by the emptiness, it has only been around for a few months so word is just getting around. The lady who is the main cook is the real deal!! I am Sri Lankan and my husband is Spanish and we LOVE it here. Brings me back home every time. The rice and curry is my favorite and the beef dosa is rocking! Read more
