Excellent fish and chips dinner! I had halibut and chips with tartar sauce, creamy coleslaw and pasta salad on the side. The servings were very generous. My piece of fish was huge and I had lots of tartar sauce to go with it. I didn't run out. I love the fries. They are just like the ones that my mom used to make. Broken ipod screen, computer issues, new devices etc. I have always found each employee at all stores to be very knowledgable, very friendly, speaks in terms i can understand as a non computer person. We have been there and had to wait for a table and then wait for food, but as far as restaurants in this little town that are really trying to make the town better this one gets a 5. Both the owner/ chef and his staff seem like a bunch of kids really passionate about food and wine and service. On a good night the food is perfect, better than many restaurants I have been to in London or Toronto, on a bad night you will wait an hour, the staff will be charming, and the food will still be great. On top of it, it seems like this is the restaurant here that really tries to be better all the time. Their wine list has gotten quite good, they change their menu seasonally, and they are very involved in the community, doing fashion shows and fundraisers and stuff. They have gotten better, they are still getting better, but don't go there if you only have half an hour. Read more
