Sushi Club is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. Their food is delicious and they have really good service. Even though I don't live in the neighbourhood, I go there because it is the best restaurant. The renovation they had this summer was very good. It affected the restaurant by a lot. I really like this restaurant. It will have your order ready within 10 minutes. If I'm ever working from home or just don't have time to cook, this is very quick and feasible option. The other day, I placed an order for a slightly spicy meal and went home. I found the meal too spicy for my taste so I asked if I could get a milder version. They just asked me to bring the original meal back & they provided me a fresh meal according to my liking within 10 minutes. Now, that's good customer service. By the way, the prices are pretty good during lunch time.

I am a patron using a disbility device and while the restaurant is not "accessible" perse they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Now aside from that, I've been visiting this restaurant for roughly 20 years. My Mother and I found it a long time ago looking for a good Japanese restaurant that wasn't all the way downtown. The have great sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, soups & my favourite Japanese style salad! Decor could use an update but it's clean and comfortable. There's a hidden entry from parking behind the restaurant or the double doorway at the front. Last night I decided to eat in for the first time since becoming differently abled so to speak. I had the Legend Boston roll with crab, Japanese mayonaise and salmon topper. It was very rich so I suggest if you try this do it with several people so everyone can have a taste, it was lovely but too rich for just one person to demolish. I had the shrimp tempura dinner which has tempura vegetables with it. Last night the tiger shrimp were lovely and fresh and the mix of vegetable composed of squash, sweet potato, onion and broccoli were very yummy. They make amazing tempura sauce. The meal comes with salad, miso soup, rice and huge plate of tempura so again great for sharing! I took home a cucumber roll for my son but seriously considered their toonie Tuesday offer which is a California roll, max of 2 given the offer, but my son is new to Japanese os a simple cucumber roll. I have plenty left over for lunch and am hoping the tempura will crisp up under the broiler today! Thanks to A.J. & staff for making it a lovely experience with my needs ;o)

The foccacia bread was delicious. They brought us extra when ours was gone. The decor is calming even when the restaurant is packed. Please make a reservation! The restaurant is very small with about 12 tables. Pasta sauce was great, and I am a very fussy sauce person. Husband loved the vodka tomato bacon pasta dish. Can't wait to go back!

Some may or may not know, but Okasame is where you allow the chef to choose what you eat for that meal. I have been allowing the chef to pick for our dinner now when we go there. I found the chef is a really friendly person who likes to socialize with his guests. I hardly find places like this.
I like the atmosphere there. It has traditional tatami rooms and decorated with japanese dolls and wall items. Which is hard to find in usual Japanese cuisines. I found the food quality to be great, although some might argue it is expensive. I do not find this place highly overpriced. I like quality rather than quantity. This is also why the chef has never served me sushi since you can eat that anywhere else (such as an All you can eat sushi). The appetizer which I usually have started off with is a dish which consists of 5 to 7 small dishes. It contained two different dishes of Japanese abalone. One of them was a softer texture, which tasted great. Another dish was shark fin, I found it unique since I usually drink in a soup. In stead this time I ate it as an appetizer dish. One of the ones I loved from this small dish appetizer was the small fishes one. They are white and small. They were soft and chewy. I loved this appetizers with its many different texture and favored dishes.
One of the main entrees was the fresh fish which was served as sashmi first by using one side of the fish. The other half is cleverly decorated while you finish the sashmi. Afterwards the server will then take the second half for the chef to grill it. One fish with two different taste!
I also tried the fresh clam served with lemon. Which was interesting how the lemon mixed with the clam perfectly. The texture was great to chew on.
I found the crab sake rice to be great to. Since it is not your usual fried rice. Some people loved it whereas some females found it a bit to salty. Nevertheless It was good.
Also the plum sake was sweet and perfect for ladies that don't like the regular sake.
Overall, I will recommend this place to everyone!

Salads include tossed, Caesar, Greek and julienne vegetables. With a name like O’Grady’s you’d expect some British fare and the pub doesn’t disappoint with the shepherd’s pie and Scotch meat pie. Popular nachos are also on the menu, as well as an all day breakfast. O’Grady’s even offers souvlaki.
