We had the best dining experience at lunch today. We spent the last two days in the hospital so we were in need of a good lunch. Stacey was phenomenal!!! It was pretty busy but she looked after us like were only patrons. She was very efficient and friendly. You can tell she enjoys her job as I watched smiling and laughing with everyone she was waiting on. She suggested the new cauliflower wings and they were to die for. The decor is very nice and the service is good BUT they are too quick with the food. The main entrees were brought to our table as we were still eating our appetizer. I can't understand how anyone can not like this place, or go in to expect 'fine dining' as one reviewer described. If you want a good no-frills breakfast I can't think of a better place to go in London. I've been a patron of this place for close to 4 years now and it's always been great. I rarely order from the lunch menu but anything on the breakfast menu is so decent and down to earth that it's really hard to hate. The spices on the home fries really do it for me too. Service is usually always great (at least with the server we see the most, Catherine/Catty I think her name is?) She really makes us welcome every time. I've never had any of the other problems other people have reported (charging tip without notice, mice?) The place is a slightly different place though at night when the servers and staff are different - sometimes service can be slow and inattentive. Read more

Had an amazing experience with Mini Pavers. At first I was skeptical of their craftsmanship as only a few days after my driveway was done I began to see tire marks wherever I drove my car. Against my better judgement, I did not call and ask about it I just assumed they did a bad job and told people that asked not to contact these guys. I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot.
