We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. Good work once again!

Simply put has the best combo for 5$ not to mention the best BBQ Chicken pizza among all locations of Twice The Deal I have visited. Staff is always courteous and eager to help with a smile. Being from the Chicago area, my husband and I are used to good pizza. When we moved here, we were both very disappointed in any pizza we had...until we ate Venezia's! This is authentic, great tasting, made to order pizza which will keep you coming back! Granted, it is mostly for take-out though they do deliver and have a few tables inside to eat on (outdoors, weather depending). It's casual and great for when you don't have time to make dinner or you're simply craving pizza. Their panzarotti's are also wonderful! The lady who owns it must be from Italy and she is quite sweet and lovely. The other people who work there (all related I think) are also very friendly.

I always order from this location they make amazing pizza even with my super picky requests and I have yet to be disappointed, in fact today I accidentally ordered the wrong toppings on my pizza, totally my fault and I called them and they sent over a new correct pizza. Im usually giving very positive reviews but for this place i have to make a bit of an exception. Don't get me wrong, i got the arabiata pasta and it was great! However, while my wife and i were eating our meal we had to endure the chef freaking out in the kitchen (maybe an open kitchen isnt a good idea for this type of person). I thought he was just having a bad day, but ive been here a few times and every time on a friday or saturday night the chef although nice to the customers seems a little frustrated in the kitchen, including towards the servers. I also found that i was rushed by the kitchen staff. Before i even finished my appetizer, here comes my main course..Needless to say i think if i get anything from here again i will order take out. I recommend any of the pastas, my wife had muscles and said they were "okay" and said for someone who "specializes in seafood" she expected better quality.

Great ambiance, friendly staff, good choice of lunch and dinner items, reasonable prices, nice wine list, and great little patio in front in the Summer. Parking is an issue as you have to park around the corner, but that's typical for everything along the main street in Dundas . You have to find a metered spot (free in the evening). :) I'm looking forward to eating there again. I've been there 4 times this past year.

i was there couple weeks ago, we had the "weekly special", the chicken Valdostano?? the marsala mushroom sauce was very tasty and different, and the amount of food was amazing, it literally fill the entire plate. the service was really nice we got our food right away, we are planning to go back again.

I have gone to Grand Chalet/ Tony Spiducci's many times. I have had the pleasure of going with one person and have been there with up to 25 people. The service, food and atmosphere didn't waver a bit... Every time i have gone I have had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I will and have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know. Try an order of spiducci's when your there..so yummy (tiny lamb meat only shish kebobs)
