We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. This place is awesome!!! The restaurant is small but cozy. There was only 1 woman running the show up front and it got quite crowded by late afternoon, but I was impressed by her level of service. We had the mango salad which was bursting with flavor and very originally put together. Even my wife agreed it was deserving of 5 stars. I also love the fresh (not fried) spring rolls w/ peanut sauce. Pad thai came next and that was good as well. Finally, we had chicken Panag curry which was served with a side of rice. Also a winner. I always thought that the area needed a sushi place, as in the area of Bathurst/Finch and Bathurst/Sheppard there were no sushi places. In fact, the nearest sushi place was located on Yonge St. My family had the AYCE dinner (the dinner is 18.95 from Monday to Thursday and 20.95 for Friday and the Weekend). The sushi quality was really good, and I noticed that many of the other clients chose to order the sushi using the regular menu (the non AYCE option). In addition, The Sashimi slices were really big and very fresh. I also liked the environment of the Restaurant, and found the costumer service to be very good.
