My first time going to Sushi Legend on Ravel Road and to be honest with you, I am very very happy. This place is new so everything is sparkling. The design of the restaurant is so modern and classic, I fell in love instantly. The all you can eat lunch is $12.95 and considering all of the different choices they have, it is soo soo soo worth it. The place is big and comfy and can accommodate a lot of people. The servers are all fluent in English, very friendly and serve you very quickly. My lunch bento box which was $8.50 came in 5 minutes. I was impressed. We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile. I got here for lunch often because it is close to my work. Prior to that my boyfriend took me a few times too, since he lives nearby and loves the place. I'm quite surprised at some of the reviews here though. I love the place! I feel very welcomed, the service is good, and the atmosphere is quite nice. I've never been disappointed with their food, and find the quality much better than some restaurants. That said, I would note that I find them to be a bit pricey. So overall, it's a great place! I made reservations and went to the restaurant at the end of May for my 18th birthday party. It looked very elegant fom the mall entrance. The ambience was very modern and cozy, though it was slightly noisy at times. Service was prompt and attentive with our orders and the manager even came and brought me a piece of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" written in icing on the plate. Everyone unanimously agreed that the food was great. We shared a group veggie, chips, and dip platter and I had the steak well done. It was cooked to perfection and was artfully arranged with savory garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The cake I received was delicious, as was the sorbet a friend let me try. Overall, the evening went perfectly and the meal was easy on the wallet since none of us drank any alcohol. I would definitely come back here or to another Oliver & Bonacini managed etablishment. I come here every couple of weeks when I'm in the area, a good hearty breakfast served promptly and cheerfully. Can't ask for much more than that! Parking is the only drawback, the lot is quite small and if the snow is piled up it can be a tight squeeze, that's why I rated it an 8 overall. Tried this place out because of the mostly great reviews, and I agree. Best chicken club I've ever been served, home fries were REAL - DONE ON A GRILL, and were delicious, a pleasure to wait for. The bacon this restaurant uses is amazing, not salty or greasy, fantastic. The chef was surprisingly young (20's), but sure knows his way around a grill, and old-style/old school cooking. I couldn't finish my club (very rare for me). The place is not fancy and the chairs are hard/uncomfortable, but maybe they don't want people sitting around too long?
