I stayed in this motel back in July, for 4 weeks, but unfortunately did not try their restaurant until the last week. Probably the best in Espanola.Good variety of entres. Had the primerib one night and a chicken dish another night. I think the bill each night for 2 of us was +/- $50 ,including a drink each. Great Pub joint to sit down and hang out with friends and have a few beers. The selection is AMAZING! There's no way you wouldn't able to find at least one thing you're interested in. I always have a hard time picking from two or three items. All the sandwiches I've ever had there have been awesome. My fiancee usually orders either pastas, nachos or fajitas and has never been dissatisfied with his meals either. Staff is always prompt and polite, lovely to deal with. I have to prempt everything that I am going to say with I did enjoy the food so much that I may go there again for dinner (am on contract in the area). The hot and sour sea-food soup appeared to be small, but when the flavours filled my mouth, and I discovered 3 large cleaned shrimp (only tail bit remaining) I'm happy to say I'm quite pleased with this selection. The mango salad was not available as a 'plain' mango salad, but also came with shrimp, making it $5-$7 more than I usually pay for mango salad. Again the shrimp were large, clean and fresh (good 'bite', not soggy at all), but the dressing seemed made at the last minute and didn't contain the rich complexity that the soup did. I don't know if I would order this again. Read more

I have stayed in many hotels & motels in sudbury, also around Canada and the USA. The Moonlight motel stood out above other sudbury motels. The motel is like staying in a franchise hotel room with a very reasonable room rate. My room Included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and I got one with a kitchen. As well the motel is located in a quiet area of Sudbury, very easy to get around sudbury within 10 mintues to work downtown. The management, front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and the service was above what other motels would do. The motel room I stayed in was clean when I checked in. After each day I got back from work none of my things were moved and the room was cleaned exceptional well. I was impressed with the Moonlight Inn motel that is why I am writing this review. My wife and I have gone to Flippers for 25 years and we simply love it there. We get really well treated. Mostly because we are regulars and are very nice to the staff and we tip extremely well (sometimes 30% of total bill) The meals are exceptional, the service is wonderful and we have often taken people with us, who have become clients of Flippers on their own. When we leave the restaurant we compare notes and my wife and I normally say how wonderful everything was. It is one of our faourites in Ottawa. Read more
