Best sticky toffee pudding; sandwiches are innovative without being over the top obnoxious; great fries that I believe are hand cut; very good variety of beverages; staff is friendly and knowledgeable; atmosphere is cozy and clean. We found the staff to be very friendly and were glad to give us directions to the different places in town. The service was fast and the waitress was very polite and freindly. The serving of food were large and hot. They have a large assortement of food on their menu and they made you feel welcome as soon as you entered the restaurant. This little fish and chip shop on main street in Prescott is by far the best in the Ottawa area. I have tried a couple others in Brockville and still will drive out a little farther to have the food from here. It is take-out mostly but does have a sitdown type bar with a few stools for while you wait and the staff is always pleasant. The batter on the fish is wonderful, the filling is mostly fish and not batter alone, as some other places offer, and the fries are to die for also; never over cooked and home-made. They have stuffed mushrooms and recently when I was there a new menu item of the great fries with finely ground and seasoned hamburger and melted cheese with green onion and hot jalapena peppers -- hmm hmmm very good. The owner is really named Tim and is a very nice guy who is often on site. Reasonable prices for all you get with some left over.
