I go all the way from Hamilton to Etobicoke to get my hair done with Lola. Great service, very affordable and she definitely knows what she is doing . I always leave smiling
I’m a happy customer!! El’mai always provides outstanding service. I go to her for my wig installs, sew-ins, and make-up. She is flexible with appointment times and always provides recommendations for styles best suited for my hair type. I walk out of the salon feeling great and beautiful. Her salon is neat and well organized. Overall, great service, customer service and positive energy.
Very unprofessional calls her customers “crazy” when they ask for her to re do hair she clearly messed up. To be more specific, she refused to give a refund for a closure she put too much bleach on and ruined to the point where it was covered in bald spots only 2 weeks after instalment. Tried to contact her about three times with no response. She also added services without me asking which hiked up the price. Very rude and unprofessional and only out for your money!!
I made a last minute appointment with Lola to get my hair and make up done for a friend's wedding and Lola made me look beautiful,the comments I got from people that day was amazing even my husband was shocked.Amazing service too.
It has been a pleasure working with Lola ever since I was referred to her by a friend who also used her for her wedding. When I contacted Lola over whatsapp she was very pleasant, Come time for my trial, she didn't even charge me for the labour just the hair! She came over to my home to style my hair for my shoot all the way from Mississauga to downtown Toronto! On my wedding day, she did a wonderful job at styling my hair as well as my bridesmaids! I now go to her for my regular appts :)
The owner, Lola is very pleasant and welcoming. She keeps her shop clean and doesn't keep you waiting before catering to you. I highly recommend Lola for all of her services as she goes above and beyond to ensure that you are happy with your results. I will continue to go to her and tell all my friends as well.
I frequently go to El Mai Studio and the service keeps getting better. The salon is very clean and all the utensils (combs etc) are sterilized. The owner Lola is a true professional and exceptional with her work. My appointments are always on time and pricing is actually lower than what most salons charge for the same services.I would definitely recommend this service to everyone. She specializes in bridal hair and make-up,also very good with sew-ins, cornrows,coloring,cuts for women and men etc
My daughter and I had such a great time at El Mai Studio last month, I just need to blow my horn over the great warmth I received from Lola. Eversince then, I had referred my friends for her makeup and hair services. Each and everyone was so impressed by her skill in both these areas.
Had my make up and hair done for a wedding. Great service. Lola was nice, friendly and courteous. I paid nothing for my bridal trial, and my make up and hair on the day of the wedding was flawless. I regularly come here to get a trim and a root touch up. Always great energy, and very accommodating.
I had hired Lola and her assistant for my wedding hair and makeup. It was a disaster. Firstly, her assistant didn't show up to the groom house and she was not apologetic. She completed 3 hair and the bride house. The hair was nicely done but We wanted simple light makeup as this was for a morning traditional wedding. The three ladies completely removed the makeup. She also over charged the groom house and was greedy as she knew we had no one else at last minute. I feel she was dishonest :(
