AAAAAMAZING !!!

We stayed in Niagara for three nights at the Hilton Fallsview, and decided to try out Copacabana. Upon making my way to the resturant i decided to check out the reviews as any person would when visiting another city. The reviews had shocked me, so i was a little hesitant but we still made our way over. Dispute everything said, entering the restaurant the atmosphere was live, fun and energetic. Once inside we were greeted by friendly hosts who explained to us in detail the concept of the restaurant. WOW ! I was excited. I kept in mind all of the reviews, and was happy to see that none of them were true. The service was GREAT, the waitress was a joy, the food super and the entertainment worth a million bucks. To those who complained about the meat, there were meat cutters that asked you how you wanted your meat, and whether or not you wanted more, (should of asked!!). Overall the experience was great, and i would recommend this place to anyone heading in the area!!! WELL DONE COPACABANA!!!!

Waste of Money

Went there for dinner to celebrate our anniversary after hearing great things about the place. Wish I had checked out this website first. We sat on the patio close to the band because we love live music, but it was not brazilian or even spanish, just your average Jimmy Buffet sounding band. The waitress was a lovely girl and I felt bad for her because we didn't enjoy our time. We expected the spits of meat to be huge, instead they were always the end of the spit. I found everything quite salty and although on some items, I didn't mind the salt, the fact the other meats were too salty ruined everything else. We kept getting Flank steak coming around which is about the cheapest cut of meat out there, so that was not appealing to the $42pp. We had to ask for the more expensive cuts. The only thing worth having seconds and thirds was the roasted pineapple. I found myself going for pizza after visiting. And I found the 'entertainment' cheesy. I thought it was going to be a big show, instead it was two stripper looking girls, one whose headpiece kept falling off and the other who wasn't sure of her dance moves. A show would have been a whole group of dancers, maybe involving the audience at one point. Had they not announced the 'entertainment' we wouldn't have known there was anything different going on, since they danced in the dining room first. We will never return.

STRIPPERS WORK HERE!!!!!!!!

We've herd numerous stories about how "amazing" this place was, so for my friends Bachelor party we went to Copacabana for dinner. The service was excellent but they cleaned our plates far to often leaving us with a very rushed experience. The meat was OK, wasn't the best we've had before but not the worst, the price however does not reflect the quality of meat they serve. Later that night the real surprise came; we noticed that one of the servers were dancing on stage before our very eyes. We were stunned.

Hold the salt, please

We had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time. We had been to an authentic restaurant of this style while on vacation in the Carribean and were curious how it stacked up. Like most restaurants in the Falls area, it was way over priced. The fact that most items on the drink menu weren't priced should have been a clue. The salad bar was lacking variety which left with no choice but to fill up on nothing but meat. Like every other guy out there, I love meat, but not being a professional chef, even I know salt is not the only way to garnish and flavour meat. My wife and I were gulping water after every cut of meat. It was also apparent that the chef was not planning on it being busy as it seemed that the only meat he was able to keep turning out on a regular basis was the different assortment of steaks. We didn't see anything other than steak until 45 minutes into our meal when finally some chicken made an apperance. I had to request our waiter to bring out some other meats, lamb, pork, etc. In the end, I appreciated the effort that was put forward, but definately would not visit again.
