Meet the owner

Ngawang Logsang came to Canada in 2008. A couple of years later, he opened the Tibetan Village Store in Kensington Market to address what he saw as a big demand for meditation and yoga gear.

“I wanted to bring Tibetan culture into Toronto and I realized that a lot of people are interested in our traditions,” says Ngawang. “That was my initial inspiration; that I can bring some meditation stuff along with the yoga mats and yoga bags.”

    Lobsang is a very kind and respectful person. He has really good quality mechandise and a variety of items to choose from. I always get compliments on clothing and I always recommend friends to go to his store.
