Si les restaurateurs sont heureux de la réouverture de leurs restaurants, il y en a qui sont cependant très indépendants. Chez Boulay - Bistro boréal, on nous a refusé l’accès à leur terrasse, hier le 10 juillet 2021, prétextant que nous devions prendre un repas complet pour y avoir droit. Très ordinaire lorsqu’on se fait dire que prendre seulement une entrée avec un verre ou un dessert avec un verre n’est pas suffisant pour entrer … Ce n’était pourtant pas la première fois que nous allions à ce
Great food with local ingredients, la planche mix had a good mix of tasty things before our main course. Even the dessert was great (tarte d'argousier, great)

I would have rate it 10 out of 5 if it was possible. We went for a dinner, took the land-sea appetizer platter when the duck 'magret' and my wife took the salmon tartare. Service was quick, our glass wine was never empty, food was tasty and very good, price was OK for a high profile restaurant. I would recommend anyone with a budget to go there to enjoy a culinary experience. Would go back there for sure !

On Rue Saint-Jean, inside the city ramparts, this northern bistro is just the place to celebrate a special occasion. And just because it's a bit chic, doesn't mean that children aren't welcome; quite the contrary! The service is pleasant and the brunch menu, which changes according to the inspirations of chef Arnaud Marchand, is a celebration of the produce of Quebec.
