Tamam is the name of the owner, the cook and the restaurant. The owner and cook -- together with her filmmaker husband -- came to Vancouver from the Old City of Jerusalem and cooks with all the freshness and flavour of that most remarkable place.
The menu is as authentic as they come. The signature dish is mujaddarah, savory rice and lentils softly blended with crispy fried onions on top.
