This Mandarin is still pretty new and clean inside so that is definately a big plus if cleaniness is important to you. The food selection is pretty good and some dishes are actually pretty good. This is a great place for a family meal. We went for my birthday and they really did a great job to make the meal experience a good one. We really enjoyed their food and there is one dish that my mom really love only a few restaurants serve in all of GTA.
I think they have a lot of options certainly, it may be less than other Chinese places but this is because they specialize mostly in Northern cuisine.
The wait staff were friendly for the most part and considering how busy they were, that is a huge bonus in my book. Will definitely visit again

Service was pretty good considering we were eating in an asian establishment. Tea was topped up, food was replenished quickly, and the side dishes kept coming.
I didn't use their washroom but the location is accessible by TTC or Car. Nice spacious dining area and it was clean. I liked how food was coming non-stop. We had so much food that night - great bang for our buck. Although the taste of the food was a little bland (compared to other Korean BBQ places), the side dishes made up for it. I think we took their stock of kimchi and spicy bean sprouts =)

They have wide selection of sushi and sashimi and some are not even available from the other AYCE places. All sashimi were great, squid sushi, BBQ eel sushi, the spicy salmon handroll were AMAZING.
Hot food selection is not as impressive but there are some really tasty items, like: mayonnaise shrimp, beef sashimi, deep fried scallop.

For 10$ a person excluding taxes, you get authentic asian style soup (NOT cream of corn or vegetable soup), starter salad, main course, authentic asian dessert (none of that green tea ice cream stuff) AND a large bubble tea drink. The seats and tables are spacious and comfy, the place is ALWAYS clean, the decor is VERY nice, the place doesn't look sketch at all. The selection of main dishes mainly includes rice and noodle dishes. The service is welcoming and friendly. Would visit again.

While Zen is our favourite Japanese Restaurant, my boyfriend and I have enjoyed dining here for their enoki maki (thin slices of beef wrapped around enoki-Japanese mushrooms). Their nigiri and sashimi while delicious is not a priority for us to order as they serve very thin small pieces for the price you pay.
We have also had their sukiyaki (we cook ourselves on the table) and it is large enough for 3 people, although much more expensive ($60 for 2 people which includes rice and raw egg for dipping) than other restaurants where we have enjoyed the same. The sukiyaki comes traditionally (as they served), with slices of thin sukiyaki beef, tofu, Chinese cabbage, green onion, oyster mushrooms, shitake mushrooms and regular mushrooms, transparent thin noodles and onion. Their broth was excellent-not too sweet. A great meal to have on a cold day.

The atmosphere could be improved but let's be honest, you're not going there for the ambiance. The food is so delicious you're not even paying attention to your suroundings. The staff is great and always greet you with a hello and goodbye. I've been going there for 5 years and would choose no other place.
