Perfect spot, we sat outside on the patio under the shade and trees and I had the best tasting fish and chips since I left the UK. Plus a friendly server - well trained as she came by enough to make sure we were happy, but not enough to bug us. My only demerit was the coffee could have been a little stronger.

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) was staying at a hotel down the street and were looking for a restaurant. We walked by the Tide & Boar and thought it looked good and decided to check it out. At first we were disappointed to see that they didn't have a children's menu but out server was great and said they would do what they could to accomodate us. We ended up ordering the Chicken wings (Amazing!), the kids shared an order of Fish and Chips, and I had the lobster roll (really good, the salad that came with it was the best). We really liked this restaurant, the staff was great and food was delicious!

Kenny's Pizza is originally from Cape Breton and have recently opened in Antigonish. They make a thin crust style pizza which is very good, in addition they also carry oven baked subs, and other menu items typical of a pizza place. Besides their pizza I would recommend trying the Hero Sub. Their pricing is great for the size of the pizza and they do not skimp on the ingredients. If you haven't tried Kenny's yet I recommend that you do, you will not be disappointed.

I have breakfast at A & W a lot. I don't drink coffee, so when I purchase the breakfast combo, I have to pay extra for a small pop. We where seated very quickly. Gave us about 10 mins to figure out what we wanted. The food was okay. my veggie burger was huge and barely fit the bun...but was yummy. the fries where okay. the desert was Very yummy. the only thing i didnt like was that the silverware was dirty...the ones on the table were but they brought us new ones...and they didnt ask if we needed refills on water ect. so i guess my experience was Okay. id go back
