I was told from a friend to take my dogs to Audry at Furraris I'm new in Red Deer and need some where , where my dogs get the feeling of being care for. I thought the idea of them to not being caged was great. They have the feeling of being in a play place. Really no stress. The dogs cut were just what I needed to. I have heard many wonderful things about Copper Lane...so I decided I would try them out. I booked really last minute and got scheduled in with Emmy for a colour. I was really nervous and was crossing my fingers for a good experience. When I showed up, my stylist introduced herself and offered me coffee with a smile. The atmosphere of the salon was very comfortable and professional. Emmy went over what colour line she was going to use on me and why. She seemed very knowledgable about colour and put me at ease. She went over how Matrix would lock in my colour and put more shine into my hair compared to the other colour lines they use. My hair has always faded and dried up after just a month of colour. So I was very happy to hear she could solve my issue. When she was done...it looked amazing. She was right! SO MUCH SHINE! Its been almost 3 months and that shine has not gone away and my hair has barely faded. I have another appt pre-booked with her soon but to be honest,I dont even have roots really. This never happens to me! I would really recommend seeing her as a stylist. She has been wonderful to my hair and very creative to my updos when I have gone.(She makes my fine hair STAY in a boho wave for 3 days.) Even if you're not looking for a new stylist I would go there to check out their Kevin Murphy line. I have had such a tough time finding Kevin Murphy and they carry the whole line. It's the only truly organic line and it its PETA approved! I have used Pureology, Alterna and Aveda and nothing has really worked on my hair. That line has changed my hair and has actually made it healthy! My hair hasnt grown in 2 years and since I have started using their Young Again oil treatment my hair has grown a few inches within a month! I curl my hair EVERYDAY (I know, I am awful to my hair.) and now its finally growing and being healthy again. Please check this salon out and my girl Emmy!

My experience at Bower Eye Care has always been very professional and positive. The doctors are always on time with their appointments, they always keep a couple appointment times open for walk-ins (which is awesome if you need to get your eyes checked right away), and the doctor I saw was very informative and polite. I've been coming here for years and I've always left satisfied. I don't wear contacts, but my daughter has them and the staff are always patient and willing to make the extra effort in order to ensure you like the brand you're wearing. I recommend Bower Eye Care to anyone and everyone that needs to see an optometrist.

Had lots of problems getting my son's hair cut properly and he wasn't a fan of the scissors or razor.... They were awesome! Very patient with both my 5 yr old and my 1 yr old. Made us feel very comfortable and everyone is cheery and welcoming. The boys hair looked great and was cut the way i asked! Trina did a great job and is wonderful to have as a stylist!

Only problem I had was it was the polish was a bit messy but this was probably because I told her I was running later than expected for an appointment. It has been a long time since I've had an oil change experience worth writing home about. I was beginning to think that I would have to change my own oil just to avoid being haggled and insulted as I had been at the last few places I tried. Not once was I lectured about coming in more often or told I don't take care of my car as usual (I'm not negligent - most lube shops use it to instill fear and have you pay more money.)
Paul seems like a manager-type person who was the man I spoke with the whole time I was there. If there was such thing as a 'carside' manner, he got it right on the money. He was extremely polite and even asked permission to put air in my tires like I was some kind of heiress. I am used to other places either not asking to add air or forgetting to even check them. A lot of places only do it 'by request' - but when they don't communicate with you, how are you supposed to request it? So this place was quite amazing. They showed me my transmission fluid colour to assure me it's in perfect condition. Basically, I would go back there strictly for the customer service, but their prices are reasonable too. I would say they are like any other place but you actually get what you pay for.
The owner's name is 'Al' but I never met him. Maybe he will be in on a weekday. I have a $10 off coupon for next time if I take the middle package so that's another incentive to return. I am glad I don't have to figure out how to change my own oil because it isn't easy when you lack the tools needed.
They have a coupon right now on he back of Safeway receipts for $8 off. I wish I had known, but it was still worth it.
