Im usually giving very positive reviews but for this place i have to make a bit of an exception. Don't get me wrong, i got the arabiata pasta and it was great! However, while my wife and i were eating our meal we had to endure the chef freaking out in the kitchen (maybe an open kitchen isnt a good idea for this type of person). I thought he was just having a bad day, but ive been here a few times and every time on a friday or saturday night the chef although nice to the customers seems a little frustrated in the kitchen, including towards the servers. I also found that i was rushed by the kitchen staff. Before i even finished my appetizer, here comes my main course..Needless to say i think if i get anything from here again i will order take out. I recommend any of the pastas, my wife had muscles and said they were "okay" and said for someone who "specializes in seafood" she expected better quality. Read more

Being from the Chicago area, my husband and I are used to good pizza. When we moved here, we were both very disappointed in any pizza we had...until we ate Venezia's! This is authentic, great tasting, made to order pizza which will keep you coming back! Granted, it is mostly for take-out though they do deliver and have a few tables inside to eat on (outdoors, weather depending). It's casual and great for when you don't have time to make dinner or you're simply craving pizza. Their panzarotti's are also wonderful! The lady who owns it must be from Italy and she is quite sweet and lovely. The other people who work there (all related I think) are also very friendly. Read more

I always order from this location they make amazing pizza even with my super picky requests and I have yet to be disappointed, in fact today I accidentally ordered the wrong toppings on my pizza, totally my fault and I called them and they sent over a new correct pizza. You can choose several items from: peppers, pasta, chicken, sausage, broccoli, potato, bread. Where else can you get a full, healthy delicious, hot meal for $8.00. I've been twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic. The Gnocchi I ate the first time there was the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. I actually moaned, involuntarily, taking a bite of it. Bruschetta was the appetizer I had. The ratio of tomatoes to bread to garlic and herbs was perfect. Lastly came the tiramisu. Absolutely delectable. melted in my mouth. Sure it's a bit dingy inside, but they're making upgrades as they can, and the food more than makes up for it. Read more

It must be Brampton's best kept restaurant secret. I didn't know La Capannina was open for lunch on weekdays and over the years I was repeatedly told they weren't. Upon discovering this we returned to enjoy an unhurried lunch built around their appetizers. I won't bore you with the details other than to say everything was perfectly executed. Chef Massimo is a perfectionist and sources only the freshest ingredients. A bonus, our waiter was relaxed and throughly professional. If you need a quiet place for a superior mid-day meal, I haven't found a better location in the area. Read more
