We hit up Arlequino for the 2nd stop on our downtown pizza crawl. The Napoli pizza's crust was very thin with crispy edges and the sauce had a fresh and sweet tomato-y flavour. Arlequino got this pizza right on all accounts making it the highlight of the night. As for the Torino pizza, fried egg whites replaced the sauce on the same thin crust. The truffles and parmesan work very well together, but it just gets too rich. Not your everyday pizza and you certainly feel something is missing. We did enjoy Arlequino's sleek décor, and it did score the best pizza of the night, so we are certainly looking forward to coming back. Read more

The food is amazing. Portions are considered large comparing to the average Montreal French bistro. Good place for a date. Also good atmosphere for a small 5a7 (there is a large long table for 10-12pp at the back near the bar). The only negative is that the service is average. The waitress is not that attentive or customer-centric. For example, she would list the daily special without mentioning the prices, unless prompted.   • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in Downtown Montreal Montreal QC, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
