Andy's is a great place for breakfast and even lunch. Their breakfast is the best and cheapest in town. Andy, the cook is a bit of a jerk but her makes a good breakfast. His son, the waiter, is pleasnat enough, not friendly at all but I think that's just the way he is. Anna, the wife is super nice and always talks about her grandkids in Greece and shows us pictues. My favourite breakfast is the cheese omletter and their club sandwich is excellent. They also have very good fish and chips. They used to stay open later on Friday nights to serve it, but don't any mor. Too bad. The only problem is that Deb doesn't work there any more. She was the best waitress and resposible for a lot of people coming in. She was friendly and seemed to know everybody. I miss he working there. In conclusion, good local place to eat for cheap. Wow talk about great service my boyfriend and I come on either Thursday and Sunday wow talk about great food and environment. We sat down and I had some chicken wings they were cooked perfectly. Yummy. The beer was just right nice and cold and so was the coolers. The poutine was perfect too so good. The music they play is great. The bands are good, except the setting up we were kind of deaf lol but it was our fault we didnt know there was a live band. I like the patio and also how they open the bay door to let in fresh air during the summer. I suggest this to everyone if you want a good time in a pub, this one is for you I dont think there is any pool tables but who needs em lol! We started our visit via the internet to get a feel for the restaurant. We were curious to see the prices and any other information we could gather. We found the website to be user friendly and included day and evening menus with prices. We called to inquire about reservations and the hostess that answered was friendly and well informed. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the same hostess that answered the phone and accommodated us with the window seat that we had asked for. Walking in the atmosphere was warm and inviting with an amazing view of the Niagara Falls. Our waitress was pleasant and professional in all aspects of her job. She frequently stopped by to talk with us and ensure that our visit was a pleasant one. Her attention to us did not waiver even as the restaurant got busier. The food was fresh and exceeded all our expectations, right down to the butter. The steaks were prepared exactly the way we ordered them and the baked potato was superb. Overall this restaurant was outstanding, dinner was delicious, view was exquisite, service was amazing and we had a wonderful time. I took a date there for date night. A nice, large booth was offered to us, very romantic and appealing. The food was great in my opinion. Portions were very generous, and the flavour was more of a Canadianized Italian than authentic style. We both enjoyed or meal and the real treat came at dessert with the Chocolate Pizza - amazing and worth going again so I can introduce another to this delicacy. I went to Niagara Falls with my two sisters for an outlet shopping trip when we stumbled across Taco N Tequila restaurant after the local Red Lobster failed to impress us. I am not sure exactly what drew us into this strange bright yellow building, maybe that we wanted to try something different, and that tequila was in the title. Walking into the door we were welcomed by the Mexican owner and bartender, who also ended up serving us. The weather was not so warm, but there was a lot of sun coming through the front entrance so we sat there. The restaurant, with all of its sun and Mexican decorations, did actually feel almost like a nice resort vacation away from chilly Canadian weather. We all shared one of their special , which was quite the sight in its large fancy glass, and it tasted good too. A $25.00 lunch for 2 special was on which included one appetizer and two entrees. We shared the Guacamole and chips appetizer, and I had the Mexican tacos entree. Even with the third meal and a few Dos Equis our bill was not expensive by today’s standards. After eating a tasty heavy lunch (including a lot of beans), and having a few drinks, we were feeling happy, and even had a good chat with our server. Overall, Taco N Tequila was a recommendable place. It was clean, had friendly staff, tasty food, and a good atmosphere. Read more

I'm not a very big fan of seafood, but I was won over by the incessant advertisements for Lobsterfest. Gotta say it was the best dining decision made in a long time. This location was opulently decorated with wood interiors and it mainly had booth seating. After walking past a decorative stack of firewood outside, I was pleased to see a real fireplace inside. After ordering entrees we were surprised to also get salads, potato sides, and these delicious little warm biscuits. The Lobster Trio was fantastic. The tail was meaty and came with plenty of butter, though it was unsalted butter and I had to add salt from the shaker to taste. Garlic shrimp were exceptional. The most remarkable treat was the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese that rounded out the trio. It was so rich and flavourul that I could not finish mine even though by every gastric impulse I had wanted to. Soda pop has to be remarked on, it was rich and sweet the way fountain pop should be. Sheldon was our server, and he did an amazing job. All other staff were friendly and courteous as well, which made it a beyond perfect atmosphere. Read more
