The staff was small in the even smaller restaurant, but it only added to the intimacy. The staff was very helpful, always seeming to know exactly when we needed help. They were helpful and dressed very appropriately for the restaurant. I would recommend trying their martini drinks as the bartender was wonderful making them. I was at the Esplanade location last Friday afternoon around 4pm with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic time drinking pints of Steigl, Erdinger weissbrau, Jupiler, and sharing fondue--wish there was a ski hill nearby. It is a friendly restaurant. The waitresses are nice. The fish (sashimi) was very fresh, but the salmon and tuna were cut in a big chunk (too thick to eat). The the noodles of Nabeyaki Udon were too hard (normally japanese udon should be chewy). The soup of the udon is just a soy sauce soup based with some fish cakes, a shrimp tempura and a fish tempura. The tempura served with the noodles became soggy. The Uni sushi was fresh and the price is good ($6.50 per order). The vegetable tempura dinner is so so. The vegetable tempura were in big chunk, not crispy enough. The sauce of the tempura is okay. I saw other people in the next table who had bento box dinner. Those bento box dinners looked good to me. The decor of Fusaro's is very nice and modern, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was the best I have ever had! My aunt had the calabrese, and my mom ordered cinque panini, and they both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The prices are very inexpensive. Three meals and coffee for each us came to only $30.
